Samsung S90D: Fast as good as the flagship OLEDs

Great gaming TV with 120 Hz

Visually stunning gaming experiences are also possible with the OLED TV 120 Hz, VRR and ALLM problem-free. A special gaming mode additionally reduces the refresh rate. The smart TV system also works quickly and supports all major streaming services. In addition, the Samsung is not lacking in ports. Four HDMI 2.1 sockets offer sufficient connection options. Even the sound is very good for such a slim TV.

All in all, what you get with the Samsung S90D ean excellent OLED television with great picture quality for an absolute ridiculous price. For comparison: The slightly better quality LG OLED C4 costs 350 euros more than the S90D in the cheapest autumn.

TCL QM8B: Cheap Samsung alternative

A cheap alternative to the Samsung S90D is the TCL QM8B with 50 inches (127 centimeters) for currently under 500 euros on Amazon.

The QM8B is a QLED TV with Mini LED technology and achieves an incredible Peak brightness of 1,300 nits. This makes it even brighter than the Samsung television. In addition, the QM8B offers a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and in addition to HDR10+ also Dolby Vision as HDR format. However, moving image display, anti-reflective coating and viewing angle stability are not at the same level as the S90D and the contrast values ​​cannot keep up with OLED televisions.
