MWith almost 1.9 million minutes of exercise, the Lanzenkirchners even exceeded their own record from previous years.

Lanzenkirchen celebrated an overwhelming success at the spusu Lower Austria Community Challenge 2024 and set a new record with 1,884,621 (last year it was almost 1.6 million minutes) collected minutes of exercise. A total of 33,291,737 active minutes were collected in Lower Austria. “SPORTLAND Niederösterreich” and “spusu” organized the challenge, in which sports such as walking, running and cycling were recorded using the “spusu Sport” app.

In recognition of the outstanding community achievement, the community received not only the winner’s plaque but also a local tree. The donated pear tree has already been planted at the new playground in Föhrenau.
