Murder in Agrinio: “Vasso, I did it, I hit Dora” – The 30-year-old’s last call

Greek police investigations are in full swing to find the 30-year-old who shot 43-year-old Dora at close range in Agrinio on Monday afternoon.

So far, only the 30-year-old’s car has been located in the Myrtia area, but not the weapon, a pistol, that was used in the murder.

According to reports, the last person to see the 30-year-old was a local resident near a lake in the area shortly after 8 p.m. who described the suspect wearing a backpack and holding a gun.

According to his sister, who spoke to journalists, the 30-year-old “had been with the girl for about four years. We would like to apologize. My brother wasn’t that kind of person. We don’t want anything bad to happen to him. He should be arrested and paid for what he did, but not killed so as not to commit suicide. He threatened suicide. He called me in the afternoon. He said: “Vasso, I did it, I hit Dora.” I told him that she was not his property and that he should leave her alone. He did it. I can’t believe what he did. He wasn’t that kind of person. He told me he was leaving to take care of our mother and child (meaning her). His phone is turned off. She had filed for a restraining order against him.”

His mother also spoke up and said: “He wasn’t disturbed. He left and said he would go for a walk and come back. When I got home I saw the car. But he wasn’t here. If I saw him now, I would tell him to surrender.”
